Overview

EvaluAids provides spoken assessment tools for educators. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. This page is maintained by EvaluAids and is not a certification or independent audit.

Information we collect

• Account information. Email address and any profile details a teacher or administrator provides when creating an account or joining the waitlist.
• Classroom data. Student identifiers, grade levels, and tags entered by the teacher. We ask that schools avoid entering more student detail than needed.
• Assessment data. Audio recordings submitted during an assessment, generated transcripts, scores, and teacher overrides.
• Usage data. Basic technical logs such as pages viewed and errors, used to keep the service reliable.

How we use information

• To deliver assessments, scoring, and reporting to the teacher.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
• To communicate about your account, support requests, or waitlist status.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use student data for advertising.

Student data and schools

Student information is entered and controlled by the school or teacher using EvaluAids. We act as a service provider to the school and process that data only to provide the service or as instructed by the school. Schools are responsible for obtaining any consent required by their district, state, or local policy.

Service providers

We use third-party infrastructure and AI providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, file storage, and speech transcription and scoring. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security controls.

Security

Access to accounts is protected by authentication, and data access is restricted by per-account database rules so teachers can see only their own classes and results. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and deletion

Teachers can delete students, assessments, and individual recordings at any time from within the app. If you want your account and associated data removed, contact us and we will process the request.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information. Schools may request deletion of student records they control.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
